Live Benshi Performances
Digital Meme is reviving and restoring Japan’s cultural assets—including the unique performing art of the benshi, the talented artists who provide live simultaneous narration and individual interpretation to accompany silent films. Digital Meme plans and produces events for the public and for private hosts, featuring authentic live benshi performances that can be enjoyed by all audiences, regardless of age or language.
