| 18 July 2007 |
Event name: Meme Cinema Salon Vol. 3
The featured film of Meme Cinema Salon Vol. 3 was Kawakami Tetsuharu Monogatari: Sebangou 16. We were happy to see that several matinee viewers brought their prized Giants memorabilia to receive a 500 yen discount and that discussion on the Giants continued among the viewers even after the screening.
Next, at the soiree, Mr. Nobutaka Suzuki of Warner Home Videos gave a talk before the screening as guest speaker of the evening. Mr. Suzuki captured the interest of the audience and covered a wide range of topics, including a biographical introduction to Mr. Tetsuhara Kawakami, the social conditions at the time of the Giants' "V9," and an introduction to American Pastime, a film that depicts the baseball team formed in the Japanese-American internment camps during World War II.
A lottery was held after the screening, and the winner received a copy of American Pastime on DVD.

Event: Meme Cinema Salon Vol. 2
The second volume of Meme Cinema Salon had two screenings in one day-both a matinee and soiree. Guests filled the seats at our first matinee ever, and the screening began with a cozy atmosphere. The screening was of a French film entitled Sous les toits de Paris (Under the Roofs of Paris). Also, since France is the birthplace of movies, three more films were specially featured from the Lumiere brothers' collection.
Continuing on to the soiree, wine was served to create a more French-like atmosphere, where guest speaker Yoichi Okamura held a cinema talk. The audience got involved as well, providing Mr. Okamura with questions as he led an extensive discussion.
After the screening, a drawing was held where the winner received "The Great Japanese Silent Movie Stars."

| Guest Talk Mr. Yoichi Okamura |
*What the guests thought*
At the Salon, you can feel the love that everyone here has for movies. One of the most fun parts is that, in addition to the screening, you can hear a lot about movies during the talk by the guest speaker.
